AZGS opens Phoenix office | Arizona Geological Survey has opened a branch office in Phoenix, to better address the needs of the state’s largest metropolitan area. The office will initially focus on natural hazards, especially earth fissures, and groundwater resources. The office is housed at the Arizona Dept. of Mines and Mineral Resources, 1502 W.
